This camera live streams the night-sky from the Subaru Telescope on Mauna Kea. You can enjoy not only the stars but also the beautiful spectacle of twilight to sunrise as if you were standing on the catwalk of the telescope dome! The daytime view is also available.
This is a collaboration with the Asahi-Shimbun https://www.asahi.com/ajw/, one of the most popular newspapers in Japan. The camera streams its images both night and day; at night, it’s a good place to watch for meteors and other celestial events.Installation of this camera has been approved by the Center for Maunakea Stewardship (CMS). Other Maunakea observatories have also shown their support for this outreach program.

This camera live streams the front is the observatory dome (16m in diameter) at the Kiso Observatory (Kiso-gun, Nagano Prefecture), Center for Astronomy Education and Research, Graduate School of Science, the University of Tokyo. The world's largest 105 cm Kiso Schmidt telescope and the ultra-high-sensitivity video camera "Tomo-e Gozen" searching for unknown astronomical phenomena.
