Amazing 'Space Butterfly' captured by Very Large Telescope - Zoom-in!
Description
Planetary nebula NGC 2899 has been imaged using the European Southern Observatory's (ESO) Very Large Telescope (VLT). The nebula is "between 3000 and 6500 light-years away in the Southern constellation of Vela (The Sails)," according to ESO.
