Apollo 13 booster slammed into moon - See the impact site, seisometer readings
Description
In newly recovered audio, Apollo 13 commander Jim Lovell said "at least something worked on this flight," in regards to the booster impact experiment that saw their spacecraft’s S-IVB rocket booster hit the moon. Lunar seisometers recorded the 'rocking' of the moon during impact. NASA's Lunar Reconnaissance Orbiter captured imagery of the impact site.
