Blastoff! China launches APSTAR-6D telecommunications satellite
Description
A Chinese Long March 3D rocket launched the APSTAR-6D telecommunications satellite from the
Xichang Satellite Launch Center on July 9, 2020. The satellite will provide "broadband telecommunication services for airborne, shipborne, vehicle-borne, and other mobile communication applications," according to China Central Television (CCTV).
