Blastoffs! China launches pair of rockets, both shed insulation tiles
Description
On July 3, 2020, a Chinese Long March-4B rocket launched a Gaofen “high-resolution multi-mode integrated imaging satellite and a 'Xibaipo' popular science satellite” from the Taiyuan Satellite Launch Center, according to China Central Television (CCTV). On July 5, a Long March-2D carrier rocket launched a Shiyan-6 series satellite for a space environment study from the Jiuquan Satellite Launch Center.
Both rockets shed insulation tiles during launch, which is a normal occurrence,
