China launches carbon monitoring satellite, rocket sheds tiles
Description
A Chinese Long March 4B rocket launched Terrestrial Ecosystem Carbon Inventory Satellite from the Taiyuan Satellite Launch Center on Aug. 4, 2022. The satellite will be used for "terrestrial ecosystem carbon monitoring, survey and monitoring of terrestrial ecology" and more, according to China Central Television.
