Description

This new animation begins with the closest flyby of the moon Ganymede in over 20 years and continues on to feature Jupiter's massive “string of pearls” storms and more. Also, the "animation team simulated lightning one might see as we pass over Jupiter’s giant thunderstorms," according to NASA's Jet Propulsion Laboratory.
