Iowa corn fields flattened by derecho - Before and after satellite imagery
Description
A derecho slammed into several midwest US states on Aug. 10, 2020. Landsat 8 satellite imagery shows the damage it inflicted. The "derecho traveled from far southeastern South Dakota into Ohio—a distance of about 770 miles—in a span of 14 hours," according to NOAA.
