MILITARY BOAT HOTEL and OFFICES BARGE

Many people are aware of the Botel situated in Rochester just dumped in the river and left but we found another similar vessel further out to sea which we are dubbing Botel2. Both were floating vessels which could provide temporary accomodation and working facilities for those onboard and would hjave probably been places in areas where it was either too expensive to create fixed lodgings or prohibited by planning or where there was simply no space such as in Canary Wharf where we believe some of these vessels may have been used.
