New M87 black hole image reveals magnetic fields | 55 million light-year zoom-in
Description
Take a journey from the Atacama Large Millimeter/submillimeter Array (ALMA) in Chile to new imagery of the black hole at the heart of the Messier 87 galaxy. The view of the black hole is shown in polarized light, revealing magnetic fields.
