Perseverance spots debris over mile from jet pack crash site on Mars
Description
The Perseverance rover on Mars spotted a bit of a thermal blanket that likely came for the "rocket-powered jet pack" that lowered it to the surface in 2021, according to NASA's Jet Propulsion Laboratory. It was a surprising find since the jet pack crashed about 2 kilometers away.
The Ingenuity helicopter also recently captured imagery of landing debris on the Martian surface .
