Powerful solar x-flare blasts coronal mass ejection toward Earth
Description
NASA's Solar Dynamics Observatory and the NASA-ESA Solar & Heliospheric Observatory mission captured imagery of an X1-class solar flare and ensuing Coronal Mass Ejection (CME) on Oct. 28, 2021.
