'SS Kalpana Chawla' Cygnus spacecraft captured by station station
Description
The Northrop Grumman Cygnus NG-14 'SS Kalpana Chawla' spacecraft was captured by the International Space Station's robotic arm on Oct. 5, 2020. The spacecraft was named after NASA astronaut, and first woman of Indian origin to fly in space, Kalpana Chawla. She died when the Space Shuttle Columbia burned up during re-entry in Feb. 2003.
