Two Earth-facing sunspots blasting powerful X and M flares, spacecraft views
Description
Sunspots AR3664 and AR3663 have been erupting with X- and M-class solar flares on May 8, 2024. Both sunspots are Earth-facing and could potentially deliver a solar storm our way.
NASA's Solar Dynamics Observatory captured the fireworks.
