Ultra-hot exoplanet WASP-76b has iron rain
Description
The day side of exoplanet WASP-76b reaches temperatures over 4352 degrees farenheit (2400° C) that can vaporize metals. Strong winds blow "iron vapor to the cooler night side where it condenses into iron droplets,' according to the European Southern Observatory (ESO).
