Virgin Orbit's Cosmic Girl took off from California's Mojave Air and Space Port on June 30, 2021 carrying a LauncherOne rocket. The rocket will launch 7 satellites, including four developed through the Rapid Agile Launch Initiative, a project of the U.S. Department of Defense's Space Test Program.
